Students who are preparing to take the digital version of the ACT will need to use their own personal devices, according to a recent announcement. The ACT Gateway app, which is necessary for the digital test, cannot be installed on devices provided by the Cobb County School District (CCSD) due to restrictions set by the ACT application.

Students who do not wish to use their personal devices for the exam have alternative options. They are encouraged to visit www.act.org to learn about paper and pencil testing formats and find available locations for these options.
