Acworth Elementary School will hold a Gingerbread House STEM Workshop in December, inviting students and their parents to participate in activities that combine holiday themes with science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) learning. The workshop aims to engage young students as they use math and science skills to design, measure, and build gingerbread houses.
The event is scheduled for four mornings: Tuesday, December 16 from 9:00 to 9:45 am; Wednesday, December 17 from 9:15 to 10:00 am; Thursday, December 18 from 8:30 to 9:15 am; and Friday, December 19 from 8:15 to 9:00 am.
Parents are encouraged to attend alongside their children. “Join us for some sweet STEM fun! Our young engineers will use math and science skills to design, measure, and construct their own gingerbread houses! Parents are warmly invited to join in the holiday fun and learning!” the school stated.
The workshop is part of Acworth Elementary School’s ongoing efforts to integrate hands-on STEM education into classroom activities.
