Daniel Prewett has been named Work-Based Learning Student of the Month at Allatoona High School. Prewett is employed at Big Dan’s Carwash, where his supervisor praised his work ethic and positive attitude.
“In fact, what set him apart from his peers was the customers walking up to his management team and stating how great of a job he has done, what a great help he was, and his amazing attitude with a smile. And as far as his team is concerned, Daniel is always willing to teach someone how to do the job correctly if they need assistance. Daniel will make it far in whatever field he chooses as long as he keeps up with the can-do attitude he currently has, and the willingness to continue to help his peers to always strive to be better,” said Prewett’s supervisor.
Allatoona High School operates within the Cobb County School District and provides students in grades 9-12 with academic programs and development opportunities such as advanced placement courses, work-based learning, and mentorship. The school emphasizes high standards and community involvement according to its official website.
Work-based learning programs like the one in which Prewett participates are part of Allatoona High School’s efforts to prepare students for future careers while encouraging them to achieve excellence both academically and in their extracurricular pursuits.
