The Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) at Awtrey Middle School has launched the Viking Victory Run Fundraiser to support a range of student-focused initiatives.

According to organizers, funds raised will be used for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Rewards, which allow students to exchange Viking Points at the school store and earn field trips to venues such as Sparkles, Lakepoint Sports, and Stars & Strikes. The fundraiser will also help celebrate student achievement through Honor Roll Celebrations and contribute to ongoing improvements at the school.

“Funds will support Awtrey students through: PBIS Rewards – Students can cash in their Viking Points at our very own School Store packed with fun items AND earn field trips to exciting places like Sparkles, Lakepoint Sports, and Stars & Strikes! Celebrating Success – We’ll honor our hardworking students with Honor Roll Celebrations full of pride and recognition. School Improvements – We’re continuing to make Awtrey an even better place to learn, grow, and thrive!”

Participants are encouraged to visit GOFUNDSCHOOLS.COM, search for Awtrey, click “Fundraise” to start, join a team using their homeroom and email address, and share their giving page with friends and family. Organizers noted that a default tip of 15% is automatically added on Givebutter but can be adjusted or removed by donors.
