The school’s total enrollment reached 2,996 students in 2024-25. Multiracial students accounted for 5% of the overall student population, ranking as one of the smaller demographic groups at the school.

Campbell High School is part of the Cobb County School District, which is headquartered in Marietta.

National Center for Education Statistics figures show Georgia public schools’ student population was about 36.4% Black, 35.9% white, 18.1% Hispanic, 4% Asian, 4.6% multiracial, 0.2% American Indian or Alaska Native, and 0.1% Pacific Islander.

Following the pandemic, chronic absenteeism has persisted as a challenge in Georgia, with 20.7% of students missing at least 10% of school days in 2024, based on Georgia Department of Education data. In response, the state launched initiatives such as a real-time attendance dashboard, public outreach efforts, and targeted resources for districts most affected.

During 2025, a new Georgia law was enacted prohibiting expulsion solely for absenteeism, updating attendance requirements and reinforcing diploma assistance through alternative routes.

By 2026, Georgia’s average student-to-teacher ratio reached about 14:1, outperforming the national average of 15:1.
