Campbell Middle School announces Hollywood Night dance for 8th graders on May 15

Campbell Middle School announced on Apr. 21 that its annual 8th Grade Dance, themed “Hollywood Night,” will take place on May 15 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. The event is open exclusively to Campbell’s eighth grade students, and all attendees must leave campus by 9:30 PM.

The school said the dance is an opportunity for students to celebrate the end of the year in style. Parents, families, friends, and personal photographers are not permitted inside the building during the event. Students are encouraged to dress up in accordance with a “Hollywood Night” theme while following school-appropriate attire guidelines.

Acceptable attire includes slacks or dress pants worn at the waist, collared or button-up shirts, jackets or blazers (optional), dress shoes or clean sneakers, dresses no more than three inches above the knee, and covered strapless dresses or spaghetti straps with a shawl, sweater, or jacket. High heels and sneakers are also allowed. Jeans, sweatpants, mesh or sheer material, bare midriffs—including those with nude or sheer fabric—are not permitted.
