Clarkdale Elementary announces dress-up days for Black History Month

Clarkdale Elementary School in Austell, Georgia, is inviting students to participate in themed dress-up days as part of its Black History Month celebrations. The activities are scheduled for the week beginning Monday, February 23, 2026.

The week’s events include Pan-African Colors Day on Monday, Throwback Tuesday, Black Artists and Creators Day on Wednesday, Sports and Athletic Day on Thursday, and Clarkdale Cardinal Role Model Day on Friday. On the final day, students are encouraged to wear either their spirit shirts or red and black clothing.

These dress-up days are intended to engage students in recognizing Black history and culture throughout the week.

Clarkdale Elementary School serves as a community hub that encourages its members to be catalysts for change. The school operates as an educational institution with a focus on student success through team collaboration and empowering the community to drive change.
