The Cobb County School District announced on Mar. 13 that it is inviting parents, students, staff, and community members to take part in a public review of proposed instructional resources for Advanced Placement World History and Astronomy.
The district said the review period will run from Monday, March 16 through Friday, March 27. The purpose of the review is to gather feedback from the community before finalizing selections for classroom materials.
Community members can examine both print and digital materials at the Brown Professional Learning Center located at 3265 Brown Road in Smyrna. The materials will be available for review Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Extended evening hours are also scheduled for Tuesday, March 17 and Tuesday, March 24 until 7:30 PM.
“Community feedback is an important part of the instructional resource selection process, and we value your participation,” the district said in its announcement.
For more information about the review or to ask questions, individuals are encouraged to contact Candice Lewis, Learning Resources Supervisor, at candice.lewis@cobbk12.org.
