All Cobb County schools and offices will reopen on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, following a temporary closure due to weather conditions. Regular activities, including extracurricular and athletic events, will also resume.

The decision to reopen was made after overnight monitoring of school sites and consultation with Cobb Emergency Services. Officials determined that conditions are expected to be safe for travel and school operations on Tuesday.

District representatives expressed appreciation for the operations and maintenance teams who worked through the weekend to prepare buildings for students and staff.

Families are encouraged to monitor CTLS Parent, their school’s website, and social media channels for any updates regarding school operations.
