Cooper Middle School announced on March 25 a four-day summer camp, Camp Cooper 2026, designed for students entering sixth grade. The camp will take place from Tuesday, May 26 through Friday, May 29, running each day from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.

The program aims to help new students become familiar with the school environment and build confidence as they prepare for middle school. Organizers say the camp is intended to ease the transition into sixth grade by giving students an opportunity to meet peers and staff before the academic year begins.

Parents are responsible for providing transportation to and from Cooper Middle School during the camp. Registration opens March 25 on the school’s website and is limited due to space constraints. The deadline to sign up is April 30, 2025.

In addition to the student-focused activities, families are invited to attend Parent Night on Wednesday, March 25 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., where more information about Camp Cooper will be available. For further details or questions about registration, families can contact Rosana Machado at rosana.machado@cobbk12.org.

Camp organizers encourage interested families to review additional information attached in the announcement or access registration through a provided link or QR code.
