Cooper Middle School has been recognized by the Georgia Department of Education as a 2024-2025 Math Leader. The school earned this award for its performance on the Georgia Milestones assessments, which evaluate student achievement and growth in key academic areas.

The Department of Education selected 479 schools across the state for the Math Leaders distinction and 406 schools for Literacy Leaders status. Schools were chosen based on exceptional achievement, growth, or both, as measured by their students’ results on these standardized tests.

The Math Leader recognition highlights Cooper’s commitment to academic excellence and student progress in mathematics.
