Davis Elementary School announced on March 11 that it will hold its annual Kindergarten Sneak a Peek event on April 1 from 9:05 to 10:05.

The event is designed to introduce rising kindergarten students and their parents to the school environment and staff. It aims to help families become familiar with the transition into kindergarten.

During the event, parents will attend a presentation led by a kindergarten teacher, representatives from the Parent Teacher Association (PTA), the Foundation, and school administration. Meanwhile, incoming kindergarten students will have an opportunity to visit a classroom, enjoy a cookie in the lunchroom, and see a school bus.

The school said this program provides both children and parents with valuable information about what to expect in the coming year. The experience is intended to ease first-day anxieties by allowing students to explore key areas of the campus before classes begin.

Davis Elementary School encourages all families with rising kindergarteners to participate in this orientation event.
