Garrett Middle School announced on Mar. 24 that it will host its Rising 6th Grade Night on April 2 from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. The event invites incoming students and their families to tour the school, meet teachers and administrators, and learn about joining the Parent Teacher Student Association.
The event aims to help new students transition smoothly into middle school by introducing them to the school’s staff and resources. Families are encouraged to attend during specific time slots based on their child’s current elementary school, with Austell, Clarkdale, and Mableton Elementary scheduled from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m., while Hendricks and Sanders Elementary are set for visits between 6:00 and 6:45 p.m.
