Georgia lawmakers schedule roundtable on vaccine access amid pharmacy shortages

State Representatives David Wilkerson, Marvin Lim, and Karen Lupton will hold a roundtable discussion on vaccine availability at the Georgia State Capitol. The event is scheduled for Thursday, September 11, 2025, from 10 to 11 a.m. in room 341.

The discussion comes after reports that some pharmacies have been unable to provide walk-in COVID vaccines. According to the organizers, the roundtable aims to address these concerns and explore possible solutions.

Rep. David Wilkerson represents Powder Springs, Rep. Marvin Lim represents Norcross, and Rep. Karen Lupton represents Chamblee in the Georgia House of Representatives.

Jon G. Burns is a Republican who was elected to the Georgia State House in 2005 for the state’s 159th House District, succeeding Ray Holland.
