Hendricks Elementary School is launching a new initiative called Hendricks Parent University, with its first session scheduled for Monday, August 25, 2025, from 7:30 AM to 8:00 AM at the school. The program will include six meetings throughout the academic year.

According to the school, partnering with parents remains one of its primary objectives. The sessions aim to inform parents about ways they can support their children’s classroom performance and contribute to the broader success of the school community.

The school welcomes parent volunteers for various activities such as making copies for lessons, greeting students in the morning, and assisting with field trips. Participation in Parent University also offers opportunities for parents to connect with each other and strengthen relationships with staff and community partners.

The sessions are designed to be accessible, lasting only 30 minutes and starting early in the day. Parents are encouraged to check the school’s website or CTLS regularly for updates on future meeting dates.

“Please come in and be a part of the Hendricks Parent University. The sessions are only 30 minutes long and begin at 7:30 am; a great way to start your day! Check our website or CTLS often for upcoming dates.”

“We are looking forward to meeting and working with you!”

More information is available through a flyer provided by the school.
