Hendricks Elementary School is inviting parents of students in kindergarten through fifth grade to attend its upcoming “Husky P.A.C.K. APTT Night.” The event, scheduled for Thursday, January 29, 2026, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., aims to strengthen the partnership between teachers and families in supporting student academic growth.
The school describes “Husky PACK” as an acronym for “Husky Parent Academic Collaboration is Key,” while APTT stands for Academic Parent-Teacher Teams. By combining these approaches, Hendricks Elementary seeks to build a connection between classroom instruction and home support.
During the event, staff members will be available in classrooms to meet with parents. The goal is for parents and teachers to work together on plans that help students reach their academic goals. According to the school, “This is a great chance for parents to work with their child’s teacher to form an understanding about how best to guide students toward goals they need to reach.”
The evening will begin with dinner served exclusively for parents from 4:45 to 5:30 p.m., with an RSVP required. At 5:30 p.m., parents will move into classrooms for meetings with teachers. The program concludes at 6:30 p.m.
Students in kindergarten through fifth grade may attend alongside their parents; however, there will be no accommodations provided for other children or siblings.
For additional information and access to the event flyer, interested families are encouraged by the school: “We hope to see you on January 29, 2026 at 5:30 for APTT Night meetings!”
