Georgia Schools Superintendent Richard Woods visited Cobb County to honor Hightower Trail Middle School and other local schools for their achievements in mathematics. The recognition comes as part of the Math Leaders in Georgia program, which highlights schools with notable student performance.

Each school received a Math Leader Banner during the visit. The awards are determined by student results on the Georgia Milestones Assessment.
