Students at Hillgrove High School are being encouraged to participate in Apply to College Day, scheduled for November 15, 2025. The event aims to support students as they navigate the college application process.
Participants are advised to create a GAfutures account at www.gafutures.org before the event. Those who already have an account should update their profile information, record their password, and bring it with them on the day.
Students are also instructed to complete the Apply to College Student Prep Sheet and bring it along. Researching potential colleges is recommended, and tools such as Naviance’s SuperMatch and College Research features can assist with this step.
The school recommends using the Georgia Application Fee Waiver page when applying for college admissions. Students should be prepared for any application fees by bringing a credit card if necessary.
Applicants who need to submit essays or personal statements are asked to have these documents ready or accessible online. Additionally, students should gather all required personal information prior to attending. Some details may need to be provided by parents, such as residency status or social security numbers.
