On Friday, March 6, Jack Dempsey, a graduate of Alan C. Pope High School, played with the Rhodes Lynx as they fell 84-88 to the Roanoke Maroons in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
The contest began at 4:45 p.m. at the George W. Woodruff P.E. Center and marked the Lynx’s first tournament meeting with the Roanoke Maroons.
