State Rep. John Carson, a Republican who has represented Georgia’s 46th House District since 2011, recently shared reflections and condolences in a series of posts on his official social media account.
On September 8, 2025, Carson described his participation at a local event focused on combating religious hate: “I attended the Religious Hate is Spreading event held at Temple Emanu-El last evening, where community members gathered to promote unity and stand against discrimination.”
Two days later, on September 10, he posted a brief message of support: “Praying for Charlie Kirk.” Later that day, Carson expressed condolences regarding the passing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk: “My sincerest condolences to Charlie Kirk’s family, friends, the organization he founded, and the entire conservative movement. Carson has served in the Georgia State House since his initial election in 2011 as a member of the Republican Party.
