The Jr Jacket Football program has announced details for its 2025 season, including player fees, registration requirements, and sponsorship opportunities. The total cost per athlete is $650, which includes a $450 player fee to cover equipment such as helmets, shoulder pads, uniforms, and field gear. This fee also helps pay for referee costs and strength and conditioning programs throughout the year. Each player receives an equipment bag, shirt, and shorts as part of their participation.

According to the organization, it costs about $1,000 per player to operate the program. The difference is made up through fundraising efforts and sponsorships. Player fees are non-refundable.

There are two additional mandatory fees: a $100 equipment fee that is refundable if all equipment is returned in good condition at the end of the season, and a $100 volunteer fee that can be refunded after completing four volunteer shifts with no outstanding balance on the account.

Payment options include online credit card payments through the Sprayberry Touchdown Club website (https://sprayberryfootball.org), cash or check submitted directly to Coach Mack, or Zelle transfers to sprayberrytouchdownclub@gmail.com. Credit card transactions carry a processing fee of $3 plus 3.4% per transaction; there are no fees for Zelle payments. Returned checks incur a $30 charge.

Families may choose from several payment plans ranging from three to five installments spread over several months.

Registration for Jr Jacket Football involves two steps: signing up with the Sprayberry Touchdown Club and registering with GMSAA Football (for new players only) at https://www.gmsaa.com/. Required documents include a birth certificate, participation waiver, concussion awareness form, utility bill matching school enrollment records, and proof of physical examination.

Players can reduce their fees by securing sponsorships from local businesses. For example, obtaining $500 in sponsorships results in a $100 discount on player fees; higher amounts lead to larger discounts.

Parents must sign a waiver acknowledging risks associated with full-contact football and granting permission for emergency medical treatment if needed. A concussion awareness form must also be signed by both parent/guardian and student-athlete in compliance with Georgia law and GMSAA policies regarding head injuries.

For more information about registration or sponsorship opportunities, families are encouraged to contact sprayberrytouchdownclub@gmail.com or visit the official website.
