Students at King Springs Elementary School will have early dismissal at 12:30 PM from Tuesday, October 14 through Friday, October 17. The After School Program (ASP) will remain available until 6 PM during these days.
There will be no clubs meeting on these dates. Parents are asked to use ParentVUE to update their child’s dismissal plans. Any same-day changes to dismissal arrangements must be submitted by 11:30 AM.
Five high school football teams from Cobb County remain in the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) playoffs after the first round.
On Friday night, the Harrison High School football team secured a 45-35 victory over Marietta, advancing to the second round of the 6A GHSA playoffs.
The South Cobb High School Class of 2026 will hold its commencement ceremony on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.
