King Springs Elementary School’s Food & Nutrition Services (FNS) is offering parents an option to celebrate their child’s birthday or other special occasions at school with a selection of snacks. Parents can choose from items such as fresh baked cookies, frosted cookies, Rice Krispie Treats, brownies, brookies, chocolate creme-filled cupcakes, novelty ice cream, and juice. The snacks will be delivered directly to the child’s homeroom teacher at the start of lunch on the chosen date.

To use this service, parents are required to fill out a request form and submit it to Cafe Manager Melissa Turner at least three weeks before the planned celebration. After submission, parents will receive a quote and confirmation within two business days. On the day of the event, FNS will handle the delivery and distribution of the treats.

The cafeteria maintains records of all student food restrictions, which allows parents to celebrate without concern for dietary issues.

“FNS takes care of everything – so you don’t have to!”

Parents interested in this service can contact Cafe Manager Melissa Turner via email at melissa.turner@cobbk12.org or through CTLS Parent messaging.
