King Springs Elementary School announced on Mar. 6 that Daylight Saving Time will begin this Sunday, reminding families to set their clocks forward by one hour.

The school emphasized the importance of preparing students for the time change to ensure a smooth start to the week. The announcement included reminders about morning arrival procedures and breakfast availability.

According to the message, school doors open at 7:10 AM, and any student inside by 7:50 AM is not counted as tardy. Bus riders are never marked tardy, and breakfast is served in the cafeteria from 7:10 to 7:50 AM. The statement said, “We will be ready at the doors on Monday morning with a big lion smile. Thanks for helping your cubs start the week strong. We’re always proud of our pride!”
