The King Springs Elementary School Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is organizing its annual Fall Festival this Sunday from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, with a low sensory hour scheduled from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm for those who may benefit from a quieter environment.

The event will feature a range of activities, including carnival games where children can win prizes, raffle basket entries, teacher experience raffles, a dunk tank, and bounce houses. Snack and drink items such as water, soda, pouch drinks, and chips will be available through the PTA.

Tickets for the festival are being sold in advance at a rate of 30 tickets for $25. Tickets purchased at the door will cost $5 for five tickets. Wristbands that allow unlimited access to bounce houses are also available; they cost $8 if bought ahead of time or $10 at the event.

Those interested in picking up their tickets early can do so after school on Thursday, October 23rd between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm. The application period for CubCash—a program that provides select students with festival funds—has closed. Awardees will receive direct email notifications from the PTA.

Attendees are encouraged to bring cash or cards to purchase food and treats from various vendors and sponsors present at the festival. These include St. Angelo’s Pizza, Kona Ice, SIP Lemonade, Tom’s Coffee, FruiTea Bubbles Cafe, Cub Scouts Pack 22, Bada Bagel, Jars Sweets & Things, and Tab’s Craft.

Scheduled entertainment includes performances by “Way to Cheer” for kindergarten and first grade at 1:30 pm; “Melody Makers” at 2:00 pm; and “Way to Cheer” for second through fifth grades at 2:30 pm.

The PTA is seeking additional volunteers to assist with bringing tents and tables as well as face painting and clean-up duties after the event ends at 4:45 pm.
