LaBelle Elementary School announced on Mar. 13 that Field Day will take place on Friday, May 9, and students can now pre-order their event T-shirts.
Field Day is an annual event at the school, and this year students have the option to purchase a white shirt from the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) for $5. Additional shirts are available through the PTA for $15 each, with all extra shirts matching the color assigned to each grade level. The deadline for submitting money is Wednesday, April 1.
All students will tie-dye their Field Day T-shirts during art class using dye provided by the PTA. Families may also send in a plain white 100% cotton T-shirt from home if they prefer. Each grade has been assigned a specific color: kindergarten will wear purple, first grade red, second grade blue, third grade orange, fourth grade green, and fifth grade rainbow or multicolor. Finished shirts will be distributed to students on the morning of Field Day.
