Lassiter High School reported an enrollment of 119 multiracial students for the 2024-25 school year, a 3.5% increase over the prior year, based on data from the Georgia Department of Education.

Total student enrollment reached 1,988 at Lassiter High School during the 2024-25 school year. Multiracial students made up 6% of the population, which was the smallest share among all student groups at the school.

Lassiter High School is part of the Cobb County School District, which has its administrative offices located in Marietta.

Of the 110 schools in the Cobb County School District, Campbell High School posted the largest number of multiracial students in the 2024-25 school year, with 149 enrolled.

The National Center for Education Statistics reported that student demographics statewide in Georgia were about 36.4% Black, 35.9% white, 18.1% Hispanic, 4% Asian, 4.6% multiracial, 0.2% American Indian or Alaska Native, and 0.1% Pacific Islander.

Chronic absenteeism remains a key concern in Georgia after the pandemic, with 20.7% of students missing at least 10% of school days in 2024, per the Georgia Department of Education. GaDOE started a statewide program that includes a real-time attendance dashboard, public awareness efforts, and enhanced support for districts identified as high need to improve daily student attendance.

In 2025, state lawmakers updated attendance laws to bar expulsion solely on the basis of absenteeism. New rules will also expand reporting responsibilities and work in tandem with initiatives aimed at offering alternate pathways to diploma completion for students.

By 2026, Georgia maintained an average student-to-teacher ratio near 14:1, outperforming the national ratio of 15:1.
