The Lost Mountain Middle School Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) has announced the opening of submissions for this year’s Reflections Art Program. The annual event invites middle school students to participate by creating original works in areas such as drawing, dance, writing, photography, and music.

This year’s theme is “I Belong,” encouraging students to express their sense of belonging through various artistic mediums. Application forms are available at the school’s front office or from Ms. Harper in the art department. The deadline for all entries is Thursday, October 23, 2025. Submissions should be delivered to the front office.

For questions about the program or submission process, participants can contact Reflectionsptsalmms@gmail.com.

According to organizers, “This is your chance to show off your individual creativity, express yourself, and have fun – all while sharing your unique voice with the world.”

They add: “It’s easy—you don’t need fancy supplies or professional skills.” They also note that participation is enjoyable and meaningful: “It’s fun—you get to create something that’s totally you.” Organizers emphasize the impact of student contributions: “It’s meaningful—your art can inspire others and even win awards!”

Students interested in painting, poetry, film production or other creative pursuits are encouraged to take part. As stated by organizers: “Whether you’re into painting, poetry, film, or anything in between, Reflections is your stage. So, grab your ideas, let your imagination run wild, and jump in!”

The PTSA concludes its call for entries with a message for students: “Create. Express. Be recognized. Join the Reflections Art Program today—you’ve got something amazing to share!”
