Mabry Middle School announced on April 20 that the annual 8th Grade Field Day will be held on Friday, May 15. The event will include a variety of activities for students, with the Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) sponsoring a picnic for all participants.
The school said that subs from Publix will be provided by the PTSA. Families are encouraged to donate chips and water, and volunteers are needed to help set up and distribute food during the event. Mabry Middle School promotes social-emotional learning through programs such as Sources of Strength and Second Step to support student leadership and well-being, according to the official website. Music education is also a focus at Mabry Middle School. Nearly ninety percent of sixth-grade students participate in music programs, which have earned superior ratings at Georgia Music Educators’ evaluations, as reported by the official website.
