Mabry Middle School announces Field Days for May 13 to May 15

Mabry Middle School announced on Apr. 20 that its annual Field Days will take place from Wednesday, May 13 through Friday, May 15.

The event is scheduled with sixth grade students participating on Wednesday, seventh grade on Thursday, and eighth grade on Friday. The school has asked families to ensure their students bring a Field Day shirt, athletic clothing and shoes that tie, an extra pair of socks, sunscreen applied before school, a water bottle, and optional items such as sunglasses, a hat, and $5 for Kona Ice.

Field Days are part of the school’s efforts to support student well-being and leadership. Mabry Middle School promotes social-emotional learning through programs like Sources of Strength and Second Step to foster student leadership and well-being according to the official website.

Technology is also integrated into daily instruction at Mabry Middle School. The campus features seven computer labs as well as various laptop and iPad carts according to the official website. In addition to academics and technology integration, music education is emphasized; nearly ninety percent of sixth-grade students participate in music programs at the school according to the official website. These music programs have earned superior ratings at Georgia Music Educators’ evaluations as stated on the official website.
