The Cobb Chamber’s Marquee Monday event series continues on Monday, March 13 with Anna Roach, Executive Director & Chief Executive Officer of the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC). Roach will share the ARC’s plan dedicated to the region’s future success.

The ARC is charged with peering into the future and working with partners across the community to plan for a better, brighter tomorrow. Regional planning has helped metro Atlanta become one of the nation’s largest, most dynamic regions – and a major player on the global stage.

On any given day, ARC works with local jurisdictions and various regional partners to:

  • Plan new transportation options
  • Encourage the development of healthy, livable communities
  • Develop a competitive workforce
  • Cultivate leaders to meet the region’s challenges
  • Coordinate with local first responders in preparing for a secure region
  • Engage the public on key regional issues

Roach became the Executive Director & Chief Operating Officer of the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) in March 2022. In this role, she directs the agency’s work in policy areas that span the various disciplines under ARC’s purview. She also leads the commission’s engagement with elected and appointed officials at the federal, state, and local levels.

In addition to the keynote address, SelectCobb Board Chair Kevan Espy and Cobb Chamber CEO Sharon Mason will each share updates on economic development activity and the Chamber’s Strategic Plan.

Registration is now open through March 8 for the March Marquee Monday. Tickets are $35 for Cobb Chamber members and $40 for non-members. Attendees may register for the event at https://bit.ly/3S1cO8Y. Parking is available at The Battery Red Deck for free up to three hours.
