Pebblebrook High School announced on Apr. 28 that its Cobb County Center for Excellence in the Performing Arts vocal department will host “A Night at Carmina’s,” a two-part musical event scheduled for May 2 at the CCCEPA Performing Arts Center in Mableton.

The event is set to offer attendees an evening of classical and jazz music, featuring students from Pebblebrook High School. The concert aims to showcase both dramatic and entertaining performances, providing a unique experience for the local community.

Act One will include Carl Orff’s “Carmina Burana,” described as a masterwork of classical music. Act Two will transport the audience to a 1920s jazz club setting, with students performing jazz and big band numbers inspired by Gatsby-era themes. The school said, “Join the Cobb County Center for Excellence in the Performing Arts vocal department for the presentation of A Night at Carmina’s, a thrilling two-part musical experience that promises an evening of drama, decadence, and dazzling entertainment!”
