0Comments

Mayor Tommy presented a proclamation to Art Alliance members Cathy Green (and spouse Jeff), and Carol Roach in recognition of October as National Arts and Humanities Month in the City of Acworth.  The proclamation will be recognized annually and on display by the Alliance and at the Acworth Art House. Cities and states, through their local and state arts agencies, represent thousands of cultural organizations and have celebrated the value and importance of culture in the lives of Americans and the health of thriving communities during National Arts and Humanities Month for nearly 30 years.  The Mayor and Board of Alderman encourage citizens to celebrate and promote arts, humanities, and culture in our nation and the City of Acworth.
