Weight lifting sessions for the SHS 2026 Jr Jacket Football team will begin on Tuesday, February 24, from 6:15 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. at Sprayberry High School’s weight room. These sessions are part of the team’s winter and spring workouts.

Organizers state that spring training offers more than just football preparation. “Spring training isn’t just about football, it’s about getting in shape physically, fresh air, learning how to train properly and enjoying time with friends outside of the classroom.”

The program is open to any student interested in sports or fitness. According to organizers, “We would love to invite any kid with expressed interest in sports to come out; the training is not only beneficial to those who play team sports, but it teaches kids a healthy and fun way to exercise.”

Workouts will run from February 24 through April 24.
