The Simpson Middle School community is invited to attend a “Trunk or Treat” event on October 29. The event will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., offering an evening of themed decorations, games, and treats.
Attendees can expect activities such as face painting, games, and a costume contest. Food trucks will also be present at the event. Entry for children costs $3 and payment is cash only.
Five high school football teams from Cobb County remain in the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) playoffs after the first round.
On Friday night, the Harrison High School football team secured a 45-35 victory over Marietta, advancing to the second round of the 6A GHSA playoffs.
The South Cobb High School Class of 2026 will hold its commencement ceremony on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.
