Sprayberry High School announced on Apr. 19 that all students taking an End of Course (EOC) test this spring must follow specific steps to ensure their laptops are ready for the upcoming testing window.
The announcement is important because proper device preparation helps prevent technical issues during testing, which could disrupt student performance or result in irregularities.
Students are instructed to restart their laptops, launch the DRC app and select Georgia. If the login screen appears, the device is properly configured; if an error message shows up, students should take their computers to the Media Center immediately. The school also advises bringing CCSD-issued laptops and power adapters each day during testing, charging devices nightly for at least two hours, and restarting them several times at school to complete updates. The announcement warns: “If students fail to complete these steps AT SCHOOL prior to EOC testing, the device will likely shut down and start loading updates during EOC testing and may result in an irregularity.”
