The Sprayberry STEM Academy has announced that applications are now being accepted for the 2026-2027 academic year. The application process is open to current eighth and ninth grade students. Interested applicants can access the application form online through the provided link or by visiting the Useful Links section on the academy’s website.

As part of the admission process, student transcripts will be obtained from their current schools. Applicants are required to answer two short questions: “Why do you want to be a part of the Sprayberry STEM Academy?” and “What STEM clubs/activities have you been a part of?”

Teachers of applicants will also be contacted to provide recommendations and information regarding each student’s potential. After January 7, submitted applications will be reviewed. Students who advance in the selection process will participate in a brief interview with Dr. Oldham, which will take place at their home.

Notification regarding acceptance into the program will be sent out on January 29, 2026.

For further questions about the application process, Dr. Hannah Oldham can be reached at Hannah.Oldham@cobbk12.org.
