State Rep. John Carson, a Republican representing Georgia’s 46th House District since 2011, recently shared updates on his official Twitter account regarding visits and events at the State Capitol.

On February 3, 2026, Carson posted about a visit from Cherokee County officials: “It’s always a pleasure to welcome Cherokee leadership to the House. It was wonderful to see Harry Johnston Commission Chairman, Geoff Morton, the County Manager, and Brantley Day, the Community Development Director.”

The following day, February 4, 2026, he acknowledged National Girls and Women in Sports Day with a statement of support: “Today is National Girls and Women in Sports Day! I will always stand up for fairness in girls’ sports.”

Later that same day, Carson also highlighted an educational visit: “It was a pleasure welcoming Johnson Ferry Christian Academy’s 8th grade class to the State Capitol!”
