Poll monitor Hale Souce expressed concern over the lack of supervision in the adjudication process, which he said would make it easier for vote manipulation.
A vote is sent for adjudication if it is marked incorrectly or is an overvote (voter marks more than one candidate).
“From the election director at Cobb County, from her mouth, we can confirm they were having overvotes turning up and they were not sure why they were getting overvotes because the overvotes are expected to have been sorted out,” Souce said in an interview with NTD news.
He said that if one had motive then it was possible to produce overvotes without anyone noticing. The election supervisors could also change a vote as they wish, showing flaws in the voting system.
