CITY OF MARIETTA: Marietta Museum of History to Participate in the Dixie Highway Yard Sale

City of Marietta issued the following announcement on May 27.

The Museum is once again pleased to be a participating in the Dixie Highway Yard Sale.  This event goes from Marietta all the way to the Georgia-Tennessee State Line.  The Museum will participate the entire weekend of this three-day event, June 4th through June 6th, 2021.  We have a great selection of furniture, militaria, textiles, housewares and more just waiting for you.  

The sale will begin on Friday, June 4th at 10am to 4pm.  The Museum’s yard sale will continue on Saturday, June 5th from 10am until 4pm.  We will finish the sale on Sunday, June 6th from 11am to 3pm.  Accepted methods of payment are cash and/or cards.  All proceeds from this event go towards the direct care and preservation of the Museum’s permanent collection.  

The Dixie Highway Yard Sale is a FREE event and is held in the 1st Floor Virginia Tumlin Community Room.  The Museum will be open from 10am to 4pm Friday and Saturday with regular admission of $7 for Adults, $5 for Seniors (55 and older) and Students, Children 5 and under and Museum Members are Free.
