City of Marietta issued the following announcement on June 7.
The 30th Annual Marietta StreetFest is an annual tradition and fundraiser for the Marietta Museum of History. Held on September 18th & 19th, the Marietta Streetfest draws an estimated 30,000 people to the Marietta Square! Accepted artwork includes crafts, fine art, market goods such as soaps, lotions, sauces and all must be handcrafted. The market is limited to 70 artists.
The beautiful park square is the perfect place for patrons to browse the arts and craft booths, stroll down auto alley during the Hubcaps and History Car Show and enjoy the many activities in the Kid's Korner. The festival continues into the evening with the Marietta Grassroots Music Festival featuring singers and songwriters. History buffs will enjoy free admission to the Marietta Museum of History which is located just minutes from the festival site.
