Boxing sports icon Evander Holyfield will be featured at Cobb Chamber’s July Marquee Monday on July 12.
Holyfield will be sharing his personal and professional experiences in defeating the competition at Coca-Cola Roxy Theatre at Truist Park Battery, the Cobb Chamber said.
“Evander Holyfield is a retired American boxer who ruled his professional career from 1984 to 2014 with bright and unforgettable fights,” the chamber said.
Holyfield will detail his 26 years of boxing success that included four world heavyweight titles, using his ability to foresee opponent's tactics.
The sold out luncheon event sponsored by Superior Plumbing will include the recognition of the achievements of Leadership Cobb’s 2020 graduating class.
The program will start at 11:45 a.m., with check-in and lunch beginning at 11:15 a.m. The event will end at 1 p.m.
The Coca-Cola Roxy Theatre is at 800 Battery Ave., Suite 500 Atlanta.
Fully vaccinated participants and guests will not be required to wear a mask. Individuals who have not yet completed their vaccines are requested to wear their masks upon entrance and when moving throughout the venue, the chamber said.
