City of Acworth issued the following announcement on July 16.
Mayor Tommy presented a proclamation to Mario Cappicano in recognition of U.S. Coast Guard Day. August 4 celebrates the 231st anniversary of our Nation's oldest and premier maritime agency. Acworth citizens are encouraged to recognize and honor the many men and women who devote their lives to this service for our benefit.
