CITY OF MARIETTA: GA National Guard to Recognize MFD for International Swift Water Rescue Training

Award

City of Marietta issued the following announcement on Sept. 22.

Tom Carden, The Adjutant General of the Georgia National Guard, and members of the Georgia National Guard at the Marietta Fire Museum on Monday, September 27, 2021, at 2pm to help recognize the City’s firefighters who helped conduct international swift water rescue training in the Country of Georgia.

The Marietta Fire Department designed the course in 2009 to train firefighters in their department to complete dangerous water rescues.
