Cobb County Public Library and the Master Gardener Volunteers of Cobb County have teamed to host a series of events for gardening enthusiasts at the county's libraries, called Gardeners Night Out, according to a report by the Cobb County Courier.
"The Gardeners Night Out series at Cobb libraries is back!" Cobb County Public Library announced on Twitter.
The series has already had its first three meetings, which covered the themes of "Falling for you," "Fall Outdoor Container Gardening" and "Garden Bargains."
A fourth meeting is scheduled at the South Cobb Regional Library on Nov. 9 at 6:30 p.m. and will be dedicated to the topic "Perennials: Divide and Conquer."
Cobb Master Gardener Volunteers seek to improve their communities by offering research-based horticultural knowledge, instruction, and projects, according to the group's website.
The organization supports 18 community and demonstration gardens across Cobb County, including the Reconnecting Our Roots Community Garden on Lemon Street in Marietta.
