St Pius X Catholic High School issued the following announcement on May 13.
The Golden Lions boys' soccer team will travel to McEachern High School to take on Johnson-Gainesville for the AAAAA state championship on Thursday, May 5 at 7:30 p.m. All tickets must be purchased through GoFan using this link.
This marks the first time the boys' soccer team has advanced to the state championship game since 2016, when St. Pius X knocked off Johnson-Gainesville, 3-0 for the AAAA state crown. If you cannot make it to Marietta, you can watch on the NFHSNetwork here (subscription required).
