With just two weeks remaining before voters go to the polls, scores of Herschel Walker supporters recently turned out in Acworth for a town hall hosted by Fox News’ Sean Hannity, according to a recent report by FOX 5 Atlanta.
As supporters saluted him with cheers and a standing ovation, Walker quickly went on the attack against democratic opponent Sen. Raphael Warnock, charging that he recently showed up for their one and only debate unprepared to debate the issues most critical to Georgia voters.
"I see a guy pretending to be a senator and I hope everyone watching the debate saw he came unprepared," Walker said, according to FOX 5 Atlanta.
According to the report, Walker was joined at the town hall by South Carolina Sens. Tim Scott and Lindsay Graham, both of whom consistently sang his praises by insisting he is more than ready for the job and the best choice for representing the state in the U.S. Senate.
In addition to touting his own accomplishments since taking office, Warnock has openly questioned Walker's readiness for the job, opining "Herschel Walker isn't ready. I pointed out he claimed to be an officer and that he threatened a shootout with police, his response was to produce a fake badge."
Walker and Warnock will face off in the midterm election on Nov. 8.
