Fine Fettle will open its first medical cannabis dispensary on Friday, July 12, to serve patients with state-issued licenses. Fine Fettle will host a ribbon-cutting in partnership with the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce at 11 a.m.

“Fine Fettle is dedicated to providing Georgia patients with best-in-class medical cannabis products that will bring better health and a higher quality of life for tens of thousands and eventually hundreds of thousands of Georgians,” said Jeremy Fort, the CEO of Fine Fettle Georgia. “As a Cobb County resident myself, I’m incredibly proud that our first store is here in this great community.”

Fine Fettle Georgia is one of six providers selected by the Georgia Access to Medical Cannabis Commission to offer the medication to Georgia patients, and only the third company to enter the market in the state. In addition to Smyrna, Fine Fettle plans to open additional outlets in Decatur, Peachtree Corners, Athens, Evans and Macon. The medical cannabis is grown and processed at Fine Fettle’s state-of-the-art Macon facility.

“We know there’s tremendous excitement about additional access to medical cannabis because we are already hearing the gratifying stories from those whose lives have improved because off this medication,” said Ben Zachs, the COO of Fine Fettle, the parent company of Fine Fettle Georgia. “We know that the number of Georgians who’ve signed up for licenses falls far below the need and demand in this state, and we want to spread awareness to those with qualifying conditions and their doctors that this is now readily available. We look forward to providing a healthcare solution for those in need and to becoming active citizens in the communities where we operate.”
