The Cobb Chamber has announced the opening of nominations for the 2024 Citizen of the Year Awards. This annual recognition, established by Cobb County civic clubs and co-sponsored by the Cobb Chamber Area Councils and Cobb County business associations, honors individuals who have made significant contributions to their communities in Cobb County.
Awards will be presented based on nominations from nine local areas: Acworth, Austell, Cumberland, East Cobb, Kennesaw, Mableton, Marietta, Powder Springs, Smyrna, Town Center, and West Cobb. The awards celebrate individuals whose impactful actions have made their communities better places to live.
Nominations are open until Friday, August 30. Submissions can be made at https://tinyurl.com/z5p6rr2d. Capital City Bank is the presenting sponsor for this year's awards.
