Registration is now open for the 2024 Cobb Chamber | Taylor English Classic, an event that combines a golf and cornhole tournament with a poolside reception. Scheduled for Monday, Sept. 16 at Indian Hills Country Club in East Cobb, the tournament offers participants the chance to network with Cobb Chamber leadership and board members.

Known as one of the largest golf tournaments in Cobb County, this annual event allows Chamber members to spend a day on Indian Hills’ golf courses and pool deck with business associates. Due to its popularity, early registration is encouraged to secure a spot.

The 2024 event introduces a new element: a cornhole tournament and pool party. Business professionals can register for either the golf or cornhole tournament or opt for an afternoon at the Indian Hills pool.

The golf tournament follows a four-person Ft. Lauderdale scramble format, beginning with a shotgun start at 11:00 a.m., featuring interactive games throughout the course. The cornhole tournament involves teams of two competing in a round-robin format, accompanied by live entertainment, snacks, and drinks at the pool.

The day concludes with an awards reception on the pool deck celebrating winners from both tournaments and includes raffle prizes.

Golf registration opens at 9:00 a.m., followed by the driving range and chipping/putting contest at 9:15 a.m. Costs are $265 per golfer or $1,000 per foursome. Cornhole registration is priced at $100 per team of two players.

Businesses can benefit from marketing opportunities through various sponsorship levels that include signage, advertising during the event, and recognition in Chamber communications. Higher sponsorship tiers offer participation in the event itself.
